Garden Fruit

Though it feels like this summer has been a busy one with little time for garden tending, our garden has been fruitful nonetheless!

Herbs and onions and zucchini and yellow squash....green beans, peas, tomatoes, peppers, kale, and lettuce! Good stuff!

So we are getting creative in the kitchen. Some of my favorite garden meals so far?---pizza with whole wheat and herbs crust topped with zucchini, onion, more herbs, and feta.

And these quinoa and lentil salad bowls--sprouted quinoa, sprouted lentils, feta, avocado, and garden cherry tomatoes with a dressing of sesame oil and soy sauce.

And of course the summer staple in the Armstrong household--tomato sandwiches!

Amazing tomato sandwiches require amazing bread so I'm excited to try my hand at some new bread recipes!

Happy gardening!
