T'was a happy 4th of July, indeed. Time away, though short, felt like a mountain retreat. We've been working really hard so it was great to be away from the computer screen for two days--fresh air, good food, beautiful scenery, hilarious family....good times.

My poor nephew, something big bit his ear and it was pretty swollen and gross-looking all day. My guess--a vampire.

I've gotta pull one more late nighter tonight to meet deadlines but then hopefully I can take a couple days to relax...maybe even finally get in some of that superfluous crafting I was craving last week.
