Bow Ties & Wedding Cake

So I did end up making bow ties for the boys using this tutorial and they were quite a handsome duo. Though I went with some cute plaid remnants I had instead of that other fabric. I thought, since I am a novice quilter at best, better save all that fabric for Eli's quilt in case I make a mistake : )

The wedding was beautiful--lots of beautiful people in a beautiful space. Hudson is now a fan of bow ties (he wore his all the next day as well) and wants a whole bunch of them. Jude, however, has already lost his. Either way, sounds like I'll be making more!
