Thanks, Lavar.

Growing up, I was fascinated with all the creatures and plant life left in tide pools ( I think I learned about it from Lavar on Reading Rainbow). Being from Ohio/Kentucky, though, the closest thing we had to that were the bloated worm carcasses and gum wrappers left in parking lot puddles after a heavy rain. Now that we live seaside, I think I get more excited about exploring the rocky beaches than Hudson does.

Here's the explorer and his deep sea bounty:

And in family news, we started giving Jude some cereal. From the looks of it, he was ready for it.

I now have the reading rainbow theme stuck in my head.. which is funny because I thought about reading rainbow the other day and how I wish I had it on DVD for my son.. we live in England so no such luck in watching it on tv... I miss PBS... lovely picture though...

Such fun updates - I'm so glad you include family news along with your artsy updates. It was fun to see Jude's first 'bites' and reminded me of Caden's - pretty similar reactions - if you can get to it, here's a link from Caden's blog:

Also, the fairies are just darling. I like how they are simple but with a lot of character with not too many lines. Good luck!!
