Watercolors: Building Layer Upon Layer, Just Like Our Laundry

I ignored the laundry this afternoon to play a little more with watercolors. I used to be afraid of them. Not in the "Watch out!! They're going to eat you!!" kind of way. It's just that, once you put the paint to the paper, it's there and you can't paint over it and start over like you can with acrylics. There's no "edit>undo" either. Nonetheless, it's been therapeutic amidst the trials and sleeplessness of being a new mom of two.
This one is available in the shop if you'd like a print.
