My iPod is my not-so-secret weapon for staying mildly productive with a newborn. One handed photo taking, photo editing and photo uploading--sweet. Plus I bought new shoes for Hudson, planned this weeks meals, made out the grocery list, answered Etsy convo's, copied down a crochet pattern (for whenever I happen to have TWO free hands), and started researching this summer's vacation destinations...all while nursing my sweet baby. Don't get me wrong, sometimes all I want to do is stare at his little face and his ever-growing cheeks : ). But I'm also grateful for technology, useful apps, and the ability to "window shop" at Anthropologie at 3:00am from my rocking chair.
And I'm grateful for great help. Jude is a pro at folding washcloths and can wield the kitchen sink sprayer like the best of them. He's good company in the kitchen as I get back to cooking and baking after a good long run of meals from friends (thanks, guys!)

lovely! we're having a baby again in summer and i can really envision myself nursing on a rocking chair and getting stuff done on my iphone in the meantime.
