This Past Week I...

... up'ed my intake of cartoons as runny noses and tired bodies kept us indoors most of the time.

....marveled at tiny, chubby baby toes,

baby cheeks,

baby thighs,

and bright blue baby eyes

...loved that all three boys love books

..watched the tiny tomato plants lean in toward the sunlight

...treated myself to the deliciousness and convenience of instant glasses of iced coffee.

...drew a little...I miss it!

...left the pretty city and

...enjoyed quiet in the country for a day. It's good for our souls.

Here's to another good week!

Happy Easter!

I hope you had a beautiful Easter! We got to worship/eat/relax with family so ours was great!

This year we took our Easter egg dying pretty seriously....three different decorating techniques, traditional AND neon colored food coloring,

and glitter. Lots of glitter.

From one faaaabulous Easter bunny.

A traditional Easter melt down.

Nothing a little walk to Starbucks couldn't fix though : )

My new ModCloth dress--yay!

Aaaaall Eastered out : )

Homebody

I'm realizing just how much of a homebody I am. Maybe it's because going out seems like a lot of work these days. More likely it's that I just love the little home that our little house is shaping up to be and the little people (plus Daniel) that I share it with.

I mean, I can spend a day at the zoo (like we did this past weekend), seeing rare and exotic animals from all corners of the globe, and come home with maybe 3 or 4 pics.

But a day at home, man, and my Instagram photo feed is blowin up! (I think that's how the kids are sayin it these days).

There's so much beauty in all the little everyday things. Like milkshake mustaches, little hands making homemade desserts,

muddy feet and faces in the backyard,

and long bed time stories.

Finish the day off with a glass of wine and a streaming live Josh Garrels house show and what more could the outside world have offer me?

I'm working on that flower painting as part of my spring/summer decor for our living room. I'll show you the finished painting soon!

I'll be at home if you need me!

Feelin Springy

Blue skies, puffy clouds, warm temperatures, and flowers in full bloom...we're trying to take advantage of this beautiful spring we're having in our neck of the woods.

We're eating outside as much as possible.

And taking walks and bike rides.

We paid our first trip to the plant nursery just around the corner (first of probably many).

We brought a little spring indoors.

And I brought this springy vintage scarf out of winter storage.

It goes perfectly with my springy, new, sparkly pink ModCloth shoes! Woohoo! Cutest. Shoes. Ever.

Yes, we're all happy about warm sunny days ahead. Eli's been working hard on his beach body and is excited to show it off! : )

Saturday-ing

Oh man, I hope the weather where you are was as beautiful as it was here in Cincinnati. It was perfect. Hard to believe its technically still winter with all the flowers and green leaves popping out!

The boys started the day getting Hudson's first business endeavor off the ground--the Armstrong Tomato Company. He'll be selling 7 varieties of tomato seedlings for $1 each and has been working on his logo and order forms all day : )

Then a trip downtown to buy the vintage armchair I've been pining for since I first saw it last month. Yay!

Coolest used furniturewarehouse ever.

Then we hung out at a few of our favorite downtown spots!

Mmmm....Coffee Emporium.

A crocheted bicycle!

He loves me and my kisses, promise.

It was beautiful.

Hope you're enjoying your weekend!
